On Friday 9th we held our yearly Remembrance Assembly. As the children entered they each laid either a dove or poppy they had made. Each poppy or dove contained each child’s own thoughts and reflections on what remembrance meant to them. During the assembly poems were read out by the House Captains. A minute silence was then observed.
The poppies and doves have now been displayed as a permanent display in the school hall. This display also incorporates a cross made for a previous Remembrance Assembly.
