Ofsted has rated our school as “Good” in all four areas; Achievement, Teaching & Learning, Behaviour & Safety and Leadership & Management and identified that there are also “outstanding” elements of progress and teaching.
The School Games is a celebration of competitive sport that will involve all young people in years 3 to 13, of all abilities and backgrounds. The School Games Mark launched in June 2012 is to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community via club links. Schools in England are able to assess themselves across bronze, silver and gold levels of the Kitemark. To gain any level of the Mark, all schools are required to meet a set of criteria.
Harestock Primary School has been awarded the Bronze level for 2013-2014.
Harestock is an open and friendly school which provides education for approximately 285 children aged four to eleven years of age. It is our aim to provide a stimulating environment in which each child can develop fully as an individual. We will help all pupils develop their personal and social skills and achieve their full academic potential. We encourage them to be independent and resourceful and to value and consider the needs and feelings of others.
We are committed to achieving equality of education and to ensuring the best quality provision for all children irrespective of background. We also welcome and encourage the support and involvement of parents in the life of the school.
We look forward to welcoming you and your children to visit and attend our school.
