Uniform

Uniform

School uniform contributes not only to pupils’ sense of belonging, but also their positive attitude to learning. Children wearing smart school uniform is also something that is often commented on by visitors and reinforces the high expectations we have of children when they are in school.

Please ensure the children are dressed in our uniform, including suitable black shoes (not trainers). All items of school clothing need to be clearly and permanently marked with the owner’s name.

Girls:

Grey skirt or pinafore (no leggings underneath) or grey/black trousers

Blue check or striped dress in summer

White shirt / white polo shirt

Royal blue sweatshirt with logo / plain royal blue cardigan or jumper

Plain white or grey socks or grey/black tights

Boys:

Grey/black trousers (shorts in summer)

White shirt / white polo shirt

Blue sweatshirt with logo / plain royal blue jumper

Plain dark socks

P.E. Kit:
A school PE t-shirt plimsolls / trainers.

During the winter months, children can wear long PE trousers. PE kit should be kept in a drawstring bag which can be hung on a peg at school and needs to be available in school all week.

Uniform Orders: The following item can be purchased from the school office:- Sweatshirts, Cardigans, T-Shirts, Reversible fleece and Caps.

Jewellery:
It is obviously sensible that this should not be worn in school.  Children must be responsible for watches if worn.   If a child has pierced ears, then only studs are acceptable.   Anything more elaborate may be a safety risk and children will be asked to remove them.

Book Folders and P.E Bags
Blue book bag and P.E bags with the school logo on are available from the school office.
